Week at a Glance

REPORT CARDS -Report cards are being sent home today. Please take time to review it with your student and read the comments together. Please sign and return the envelope next week. The report card is yours to keep. If you are in need of a second report card, please note that report card marks can be checked online on PowerSchool. Please let your homeroom teacher know on Monday if you require a second hard-copy of your report card. FIELD TRIP FORMS -Field trip forms for CPO need to be back as soon as possible so teachers have time to finish the paper work and copying before the trip on Wednesday, Feb. 6th. You can pay the fee online on your MyCBE account. Field trip forms for CPO are coming home today! Please contact your homeroom teacher if you can volunteer! HUMS The OREO Explorer Paragraphs are due Thursday, January 31st along with the self-assessment that goes with them. Please make sure to have this done and handed-in by end of day Thursday.

Week at a Glance

Reminders: We have a field trip coming up on February 6 th , 2019 to the Calgary Philharmonic! Each homeroom will be looking for 2 approved volunteers to join us on this trip. We will be leaving at the beginning of school and returning by lunch. Email Mrs. Simmons or Mrs. Croswell if you’re interested! HUMS -We are hard at work writing our OREO Explorer Paragraphs! We are proving who the best early explorer was by being persuasive and stating their opinions with valid reasons and examples. -Next week we will finish these paragraphs and make Explorer Trading Cards before moving onto the Fur Trade! -We are also continuing to read "True Blue Scouts" and are on chapter 33/34. We are taking notes and making note of hard words. We are also drawing some pictures to help us remind us what has happened throughout the book.
