- You should choose a food for your Book Buffet project that somehow relates to the story. It could be a food that is eaten in the book at some point, it could be a food that you feel accurately portrays a character, or it could be a food you feel relates to the overall theme or mood of the book.
- Each part of the book project must be included in its own section. Parts should not run together. Each part should be separate, clear, and easy to read. These parts should be typed and printed so they are neat and tidy. Content is very important for this project!
- All pieces of the project should be clearly labeled with your name (in case a piece goes missing!) and should somehow be attached together (tape, staples, glue, string, bag, box, plate, etc.). The project can be made from any medium you choose. Make sure you have access to the materials you would like to use. Remember, our art cart is open for you to use but beyond that you must supply your own materials.
- All sections should be proofread for correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and organization (COPS). Neatness, effort and care, and design count also.
- Use the notes you took while you were reading to inform your project!
