In science for both classes we have been working on our classroom chemistry and busily performing experiments and demonstrations. One of the things we have been doing is growing crystals to see the different shapes we can make with various materials. We also have been using a DinoXcope Handheld microscope. These are fantastic little microscopes and we are so lucky as we had several purchased in the last years courtesy of the Parent Council. See some of the photos below!
We also decided to take some photos of other things with the microscope! (Various pieces of clothing, geodes, diamonds etc) Kids have been challenged that if they find something cool at home and bring it in we will look at it under the microscope.
