Field Trips
-5-2 has a field trip coming up on November 14th to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. We are in need of at least 3 volunteers to come along on this trip. Please email bpcroswell@cbe.ab.ca as soon as possible if you can volunteer. Forms will be sent home next week.
- 5-1and Mrs. Simmons is going to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary on Nov 20th. We are still in need of one or two more volunteers! Contact Mrs. Simmons if you are able to join us.
-We also have a field trip (both classes) to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra on Nov. 21st and we will need 2 volunteers per homeroom. Please email your homeroom teacher if you can come.
Humanities due date:
Monday Nov. 5th - Pink booklet research on assigned region is due. Don't forget!

MATH-Students have spent time this week on exploring their current understanding of multiplication.
-The goal in grade five is to be able to complete two digit by two digit multiplication in a variety of ways both computationally and pictorially.
-Students have been demonstrating their ability to learn about arrays in and how these can support us in developing a better understanding of the spatial size of questions.
SCIENCE
-Students have been working tirelessly on their group posters projects for the wetland classifications.
-There will get a couple more classes to finish this up.
-They have been focused on researching the abiotic and biotic factors within their wetlands, the flora and fauna they might see, and what animals would be present.
