We are exploring the early explorers of Canada! We are learning how to write a persuasive paragraph that expresses our opinion. We first practiced with a class discussion, then by writing with a topic of our choice, and now we are writing a persuasive paragraph on who is the BEST explorer! We are using the OREO format to say our opinion, give 3 reasons we think that, back it up with 3 examples, and then restate our opinion again at the end. We will then get a chance to have a 4-Corner Debate about who really IS the best early explorer to Canada!

After this we will be moving onto verb conjugation - woo!
